You post every day, you stack up views and followers, but at the end of the month you can count your clients on one hand. The problem is almost never your audience: it's what happens after someone taps your profile. Between your Instagram and a paying client, you're missing a funnel. Your link in bio page is exactly that: the bridge between a curious follower and a sale. Whether you're a fitness coach, business coach, life coach or nutrition coach, here's how to build a page that captures the right prospects and converts them into paying clients.
The real coach problem: an audience with no funnel
Most independent coaches have a huge, underused asset: an engaged community. The trouble is that this audience lives on Instagram or TikTok, where you control neither the single link, nor the journey, nor the sale. A follower wants to learn more about your coaching, taps your profile... and lands on a dead link, a cluttered Linktree or a plain link to your brochure site. The message is confusing, the action isn't clear, and they leave.
Converting isn't about getting more followers: it's about reducing the number of clicks between interest and purchase. Your link in bio page must answer, in three seconds, one single question in the visitor's head: what can this coach do for me, and how do I start right now?
Put one clear offer at the top of the page
The classic mistake: lining up ten links of the same size (podcast, blog, shop, contact, YouTube...). The visitor doesn't know where to tap, so they tap nowhere. Pick one priority action and give it the space it deserves, right at the top. For a coach, it's almost always one of two buttons: book a discovery call, or discover your flagship program.
Frame your offer as a result, not a method. "Lose 5 kg in 8 weeks without a restrictive diet" converts better than "Personalized nutrition coaching". "Go from 0 to 3,000 EUR/month freelancing in 90 days" speaks louder than "Business support". The visitor buys a transformation, not a service label.
Prove that your method works
A coach sells a promise of results: without proof, that promise is just hot air. This is where social proof becomes your best salesperson. Highlight concrete numbers (clients coached, kilos lost, revenue generated by your students), result screenshots and above all named testimonials. A credible before/after beats a thousand arguments.
Place this proof right under your offer, before you even ask for the sale. The visitor needs to think "it worked for someone like me" before tapping the buy button. If you want to dig into the mechanics that push a follower to act, we broke it down in our guide to sell and convert your followers into customers.
Automate discovery call bookings
For many coaching offers, the sale happens during a discovery call. The problem is the back-and-forth of DMs to find a slot: you lose time and you lose prospects along the way. The fix is to let the visitor book an open slot directly on your page, with no prior exchange.
With a booking widget built into your Koblio page, the prospect picks their slot, you get the booking, and the appointment is set: zero friction, zero DMs. It's the most profitable automation for a coach. We cover the full setup in our dedicated article on how to take bookings and appointments from your link in bio.
Sell a program or package directly
Not every client wants a call: some are already convinced and just want to buy. So provide a direct path to your program, your session pack or your online offer. A clear button, a visible price, a benefit-driven description: the more steps you remove, the more you sell.
Also think in tiers: an accessible entry product (ebook, flash session, mini-program) for those on the fence, and a premium offer for hot prospects. Your link in bio page can present these offers one under the other, each with its own button, so every type of visitor finds their entry point.
Capture the undecided with a lead magnet
Most of your visitors aren't ready to buy today. Letting them leave with nothing means losing 90% of your traffic. The counter-move: a free lead magnet (workout plan, nutrition guide, business checklist) in exchange for an email. You capture the contact, nurture the relationship through a newsletter, and convert later, when the person is ready.
Add this capture block right after your paid offers: whoever didn't buy naturally lands on the free alternative. It's your safety net so nothing slips away, and the starting point of a trust relationship that often leads to a future sale.
Three examples of pages that convert
Fitness coach: a "Book your trial session" button at the top, client before/afters, a 12-week program to sell, then a free workout plan as a lead magnet. Business coach: a numbers-backed testimonial up front, a strategy call to book, a paid masterclass, and a free ebook for the undecided. Nutrition coach: a one-line result offer, client reviews, a monthly follow-up pack, and a "balanced plate" checklist to download for an email.
What these three pages share: one priority action, proof, and a net to capture the undecided. If you want to see how other helping professions structure their page, our link in bio examples for therapists show a complementary, trust-driven approach.
Take action
Your audience is already there: all you're missing is the funnel that turns it into clients. A clear offer, proof, automated booking and a lead magnet are enough to radically change your conversion. Create your Koblio page for free, structure it with these blocks, and finally put your Instagram to work for your business.
